Private area: students, teachers, companies
Registered users:
To enter all the resources of our website, Barna-House will give you a username and a password (which you can change afterwards).
- Note: If you decide to register with a new login, you will be an anonymous user and you will only have limited access. You won't be able to assign marks (if you are a teacher) or check your marks (if you are a student), download documents, etc.
Options:
All students, teachers and clients of Barna-House have access to the following services:
- Consulting the resources of our library: books, videos, magazines, DVD, e-docs
- Tests and exams
- On-line shop specialised in language material (under construction)
- See and change personal data
- See your marks and comments on your language progress, results of tests, etc
How to enter:
From the main page:
- Choose a language (Spanish, Catalan, English, French or German)
- Introduce your login and password
- Choose the option you want to use: see/assign marks, library, tests, personal data...
See and update your login, password and other personal data:
- Enter with your current login and password and choose "My data"
- Click on "edit" and enter the field you wish to change
- Type the new values
- Click on "save" (remember your new login and password).
About comments and marks:
You can consult the marks by month (January to December) and by trimester (3 trimesters)
You will see 3 numeric fields corresponding to percentages between 1 and 100:
- general mark
- participation in class
- attendance
followed by a field for a personalised comment.
Usually, in December the teacher will fill in the report of the first term, March equals the second term, and June is substituted by the third term, although the teacher has the possibility to fill out both the monthly comments and the term ones.
Consult resources and library
You can search the lists of books, cassettes, CDs, magazines, videos, DVDs and notes of Barna-House organised by title, author, language, level of difficulty (see chart).
You can also download the notes (e-docs). If you for example, have missed a class, you can download from at home the notes the teacher gave. You only need to know the title, or the author.
